Visit a Pumpkin Patch or Apple Orchard

Is it even fall if you don’t visit a Pumpkin Patch?! One of my favorite things to do every fall is to go to a local farm and pick out pumpkins with my friends. While you are at it, see if the farm has a corn maze to try to make your way out of. Before you head out, check and see if the place has any small shops where you can purchase food. My go-to favorites are Apple Cinnamon Doughnuts and Cherry Jelly. Visiting a local farm is the perfect way to get outdoors and have a fun fall day with your friends!

While you’re out doing all of your outdoor fall adventures, you might as well go apple picking too! Take a trip to an apple orchard and get some delicious HoneyCrisp Apples to cook all of your favorite fall meals. Whip up some apple pie, apple cider, caramel apples, or whatever sounds good so you don’t let all of your fresh produce go to waste. Invite your friends over and have a cooking contest to see who can make the best fall-themed desserts with the fruit you just picked out. This is a super fun and easy way to spend an autumn day and night!

Fall Movie Night

Is there anything better than curling up on a couch with a blanket, popcorn, and a fall movie? Have a charcuterie board night with all of your favorite people and pick out your favorite fall films. Before you start your movie marathon, take a trip to the store to get candy and snacks that fit the fall aesthetic. Candy apple suckers, pretzels, pumpkin-shaped cheeses, M&M’s, the options are endless and you can make it your own.

If you are feeling really fancy you can make a movie night trail mix with all of your snack choices. Start with popcorn as your base and add in all the candy, crackers, and cookies of your choosing. Although it may sound like a slightly unorthodox concoction, it’s a yummy treat that’s perfect for lounging out on the couch.

Go Candle Shopping

One of the cornerstones of fall is the scents that go along with this beautiful season. From pumpkin to apple to s’mores, to cinnamon, there are many choices to choose from. Stop by the mall and pick up a candle to set the mood until December. While you are out shopping for a new candle, get yourself a nice, cozy knit blanket to curl up with during those chilly October nights. Bonus tip: Bring it to movie night with your best friends to really get the full fall effect.

In conclusion, fall is one the best times to get out and do exciting festive adventures with all of the people you love. Whether you do one thing on this list or everything, you are sure to have a fabulous season filled with festivities and joyful moments.
