Fall is right around the corner! In case you aren’t quite ready to buckle up for the sweater-weather, here are five great coffee shop orders I’ve discovered around campus that are full with fall spirit and are perfect for a coffee date, study session or some quality ‘me-time!’
1. Espresso royale’s bourbon maple latte
Espresso Royale has different locations around campus, including inside the Grainger Library and right off the quad! Not only does Espresso Royale have a great atmosphere, they offer some really unique syrup and coffee options. Their best fall menu item? A bourbon maple latte! Whether you are a coffee connoisseur looking to try some new flavors or just on your way to class and want something fun, this Bourbon Maple Latte will kick you right into the fall spirit!

Nothing says fall more than Starbucks’ annual release of pumpkin spice, followed by a herd of customers and some very long lines at the Union. Although famous at Starbucks, this drink is served at coffee shops in Urbana or on Green Street. If you are craving a classic fall drink, stop by Caffe Bene, Paradiso, or BrewLab, and grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte. You can’t go wrong with the classic!

Now that we’ve covered one unique and one classic fall drink, I can reveal my favorite fall cafe order: a warm Cinnamon Mocha Latte with a chocolate croissant! This drink can be ordered at any cafe that offers mochas, but my favorite spot is Caffe Bene.
How to order: A hot mocha latte with cinnamon stirred into the espresso and cinnamon on top.

4. BrewLab’s apple pie apple cider
BrewLab, located on Green Street, offers a great decaf and non-coffee drink for non-coffee drinkers: apple-flavored Hot Apple Cider. This drink pairs great with their pecan streusel. There’s nothing like some good apple cider on a fall day!

5. A pumpkin cream cold foam chai tea latte
Another great non-coffee option is a Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam Chai, especially on warm fall days. My favorite place to get this drink is Yummy Future on Green Street, where drinks are made by a robot barista.
