As winter break approaches, it’s important to find activities to fill your month-long break with. Winter break is a great time to catch up on sleep and watch Netflix, but you’re sure to get bored. Here are five fun winter break activities to cross off your bucket list and keep you busy all month long.

1. Ice Skating

Embrace your inner child this winter and break out your ice skates. If you’re lucky enough to be in Chicago, check out the Millennium Park or Maggie Daley Ice Skating Ring. Plus you’ll get a workout in!

2. Movie Marathon

Looking to wind down? Invite some friends over, make yourself a festive drink and curl up on the couch to your favorite holiday movie. It’s a great way to catch up with friends while relaxing!

3. Gift Exchange

Set up a “Secret Santa” gift exchange with your friends. This is a great way to get your friends together and show your appreciation for them. Bonus points if you want to switch it up and do a “white elephant” exchange.

4. Staycation

If you’re not traveling anywhere over break, have a “staycation.” Invite your family or friends and become a tourist in your own city, have a spa day or treat yourself to a nice dinner. The possibilities are endless!
