Three October Recipes You Need to Try

October. It’s fall, and you know what that means… COMFORT FOODS! Fall weather is usually cool, but the food is usually warm and filling. I don’t know about you, but when the weather is cool, I think soup is a meal and/or starter dish that not only warms the body but also warms the soul. I’m going to discuss a three-course meal that has a starter, entrée, and a dessert that I feel are very comforting and warming foods.

I personally love potato soups. Here is a cheesy potato soup recipe is called “Amazing Cheddar Broccoli Potato Soup” that I found on Pinterest. Cheesy potato soup is both warm and filling. The recipe only takes about 45 minutes to prepare and cook. It serves about 6 people. I thought this recipe looked really good and have had a similar soup that was delicious. Now, onto the entrée. I chose a chicken recipe. I personally think it would be really good with plain noodles and loved putting the sauce on them, or you could even do mashed potatoes if you’d like. This recipe is called “Creamy Parmesan Garlic Mushroom Chicken” and serves 4 people. This recipe can be found here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/234257618103197706/

Finally, onto the dessert (the best part). When it’s fall everything is pumpkin, pumpkin this pumpkin that. So, this recipe is of course pumpkin. This is a recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. It’s vegetarian, takes 25 minutes to prepare and cook, and serves at most 24 people. Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorite desserts to eat, especially in the fall. These three recipes are all fall recipes that I think you should try. They are all comfort foods that are nice and warm during the fall season. COOK, SERVE, and ENJOY!
