Parents Weeknd Tailgating Food & Drinks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Illinois State chapter.

Parents Weekend starts today, which means a few things for all of us Redbirds out there. Not only will we being seeing an almost obscene amount of our favorite Redbird Reggie around campus, but we also be attending the football game this weekend, and perhaps even more importantly, tailgating! When it comes to the snacks and drinks of tailgating, most of us, (myself included) usually take the easy route and by a box of Oreos or a case of Natty Light at our conveniently located CVS. While there is nothing wrong with this, why not make things a little more festive this year and try making a couple things on your own? Thanks to my helpful Pinterest account I was able to find some simple and affordable snack and drink recipes. I hope you give one of these drinks and snack a try this weekend and really impress your parents!
