Ahhh, it’s that time of the year again, ladies! It’s Bachelor season! This season is already in full swing. From pageant queen drama to the “cougar club”, there’s plenty of drama to go around…. and it’s only week 4. I’ve always loved The Bachelor and my friends thought I was literally insane for being so into it. However, I finally convinced my bestie/roomie to watch it with me and now she’s hooked! Of course, every season I always have my favorites that I root for and I figured since our bachelor this season is an ISU alum, I’d share with you my top picks for the man himself (in no particular order)!
1. Hannah G
Hannah was one of my favorites from the very start! It really warmed my heart when Colton said she reminded him of home. She apparently left a very good impression on him as well, seeing as she’s the one that snagged that first impression rose! I feel like she’s very innocent and sweet, but also has a deep side that Colton really likes. Also, she tends to mind her own business and stay out of the drama, which is an added bonus.
2. Nicole
I love Nicole! She’s hilarious and owns everything about herself. She reminds me of previous Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe. Her personality is infectious and you can tell Colton really likes her openness and willingness to go with the flow. I mean, if you think about it, it has to be hard to date the same guy as 20 other women. She makes it look easy and she does it with class. Plus, I love her family story/background and how much she cares for her brother who has autism.
3. Cassie
I mean, come on, who didn’t love the butterfly entrance? I really love Cassie’s simplicity. She’s also very open to the whole experience and the highs/lows that it brings. You can tell that they have such a natural chemistry and feel very safe around each other. I mean, as safe as you can be when your competing against a bunch of women for the guy you like. Also, does anyone else think she looks exactly like Beck from You? Because same.
4. Elyse
I loooove Elyse! As a fellow redhead, I’m definitely rooting for her to find love. Despite the fact that she’s gorgeous, she and Colton seem to have a very genuine connection. Spoiler alert, their one on one date last week looked amazing! They both seemed pretty skeptical about the age difference at first, but quickly got over that. Elyse just seems like an insanely genuine person that is really open to finding her person. I really hope she goes far on this season!
5. Tayshia
I think Tayshia is utterly gorgeous. She’s classy, sleek, and seems like everything Colton’s looking for. She also seems very easy-going and relaxed, which is helpful in a high intensity atmosphere. She and Colton have a very natural chemistry, and I truly believe she’ll make it very far in the show.
6. Caelynn
Aside from her drama with other pageant queen, Hannah B, I really like Caelynn. Colton seems to trust her a lot, even though she’s been involved in some drama in the house. They also have a good and natural connection. Caelynn’s also not afraid to go after what she wants, which is something that a lot of people might shy away from in a situation like this. After sharing her story about her sexual assault in college on her one-on-one this week, it’s safe to say she’s definitely a strong person and a woman advocate. She fights for what she wants and I believe she has a good heart.
