Lindsay’s Fashion Blog: The Jumper

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Illinois State chapter.

The baggy, knit jumper is my go to outfit for those lazy days, when I’m in a rush, or at least want to make an attempt to look presentable. I’m not a fan of wearing sweatpants and a hoodie all the time, yes it’s comfortable but I feel as though I am wasting a good day by wearing sweats; not a good feeling.
Therefore, the oversized jumper is my favorite winter outfit.

How do you wear it?

Easy peazy lemon squeezy. I love outfits that are easy to put together with a touch of simplicity. It makes me feel great knowing I put a simple outfit together but makes a bold statement.

With a baggy jumper you will need:

Tights

Boots, knee or ankle length

Scarf

Of course all of these things are not supposed to be worn together but the footwear are options.
They are all meant to be layered and keep you warm yet still looking stylish.
If it’s too cold for tights, skinny jeans will do, but if you’re adventurous try tights with long socks!
The scarf to keep your neck warm and voila, I guarantee you’ll be comfortable and look great.
You have all the tools to wear a jumper, so go out and try it!
