The way that trends are consumed in society today is fastest than ever. The most vivid example is the green HOCKNEY dress from House of Sunny.

House of Sunny

This dress was trendy for about a month, but it soon became tacky and outdated since many people wore it and posted it on Instagram and TickTock. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the dress from the beginning, but how it went out of trend so quickly surprised me. The question is, when can we stop this endless consumption and disposition of resources?

Since you decided to read this, you might be fed up with this situation just as much as I do. So, here’s the solution:

  1. Buy Less, Invest in quality pieces
  2. Decide your aesthetic and  color scheme
  3. Hand wash delicate items and store them properly

These are just the most basic rules. Suppose you are more interested in building your own capsule wardrobe; in that case, so many Youtube videos and books from professionals are available. Here are my youtube recommendations.
