- Last Christmas
Who don't know Wham!'s "Last Christmas"? Maybe you notice that Christmas is around the corner when you hear this song like I do! This movie features songs by Wham! and George Michael such as "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go", "Faith", "Heal the Pain", and of course "Last Christmas"!
The main story is about a romance between Kate and Tom, but there are so many things you can enjoy this movie because it picks up various social issues in London like racism, poverty, and LGBTQ rights. Through understanding these aspects of the movie, you can enjoy the romance story while also being challenged to question 'what is "normal"?' or 'what does it mean to be a "normal person"?'. If you don't want to watch a stereotypical love story, then Last Christmas is a perfect choice for you!
That's it from us with our Christmas movie recommendations! Hope you guys can enjoy this Christmas indoors and spend some quality movie time with the fam!
