JN: What quote do you live by and why?
DR: “There is no way around hard work. Embrace it. You have to put in the hours because there’s always something which you can improve.” – Roger Federer.
I live by this quote because this kind of mentality can not only be applied to athletics, but life in general. I believe that if enough effort is put into something, the results will come and the individual will feel pleased because they worked hard to earn this outcome.
JN: Where do you see yourself in 10-20 years?
DR: Working for a sports agency or for ESPN as a sports caster/analyst.
JN: If you could spend the day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
DR: Lil Dicky because it would just be two cool Jews with enormous swag and drip hanging out.
JN: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
DR: Mallorca, Spain
JN: What is something most people on campus don’t know about you?
DR: Despite being known as an “athlete-student” or “that red-headed tennis guy” on campus, I won multiple art contests throughout high school for cartooning.
JN: What’s an embarrassing story you’re willing to share?
DR: I don’t think we have enough time for me to tell an embarrassing story lol. My life is just constant embarrassment so just follow me on Instagram @david_reinharz to see how I attempt navigate life.
JN: How do you feel about being nominated as a Campus Cutie?
DR: I feel ecstatic! I am just glad the world can now see how cute/eligible of a bachelor I am ;)
JN: What would you like to be remembered for?
DR: Making people smile and laugh.
