10 Signs Your Roommate Is Actually Your Soulmate

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at HWS chapter.

Some girls, like myself, have been blessed by the college angels to have the most incredible roommate you could ever possibly dream of. If you already classify your roommate as your long-lost twin sister and already act like a married couple, then you have found your person.

1) You tell each other EVERYTHING:

…And we mean everything.

2) You know one another’s past more than your own and still love each other unconditionally.

You both know nothing will ever change that, even if we looked like squirrels in middle school.

3) You give fantastic confidence boosts when the other is feeling down about themselves.

…Both drunk and not drunk. They need to know that they are a princess at all hours of the day.

4) They are the first person you go to when you are about to have a breakdown.

And you know they won’t judge your ugly-cry.

5) When a boy breaks their heart, you most likely will do the following:

Only kidding…Not really, though…

6) You give honest advice about each other’s apparel.

Whether it is painful or not, your roomie is up-to-date with all the latest fashion advice.

7) You can’t go minutes without talking to them.

Separation anxiety to the max. An hour and a half lecture without them?? No thanks.

8) You have great dance moves together at parties.

Maybe not so great.

9) You are attached at the hip.

You go everywhere together…No ifs, ands, or buts.

10) Lastly, you consider each other family.

They are your best friend, sister, and soulmate. They are your person.
