Having the perfect skincare routine down pat is essential to building self-confidence. However, skincare is not a one size fits all. Hopefully, in this post, you will find skincare products that you can incorporate into your routine.

Facial Steamer

Facial steamers increase the effectiveness of your skincare products. Steam your skin before cleansing, this helps loosen pores, which allow you to properly cleanse your skin. Another benefit of steam is that it promotes blood circulation. Increased blood flow improves the texture of your skin as it increases nutrients of the skin cells. You can purchase an affordable face steamer from Amazon, or you can warm a pot of water over the stove.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

The Ordinary is a skincare line that offers effective and affordable products. My favorite is Niacinamide and Zinc serum. If you battle with texture bumps on your skin, try using Niacinamide. Niacinamide is said to control oil production, reduce aging, minimize blemishes, reduce acne, minimize pores, and moisturize the skin. The Ordinary’s Niacinamide and Zinc serum is very affordable, priced at 5.90. You can order a few here.

Biore Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar

The Biore Charcoal Bar is by far my favorite cleanser. The Charcoal Bar does an excellent job deep cleansing the skin as well as exfoliating the skin with its jojoba beads. The peppermint oil-infused bar leaves my skin clean and clear. The Biore Charcoal Bar can be used all over the body, and it claims that all skin types can use the bar. I would recommend using this product with caution if you suffer from dry skin as the product is slightly drying. The Biore Charcoal Bar can be found in drugstores, or you can order here!

Cetaphil Daily Oil-Free Hydrating Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid

The Cetaphil Hydrating Lotion is a lightweight lotion that leaves the skin dewy without the oily feel. I highly recommend this product, especially in the warmer months, where you do not need an extremely heavy moisturizer. Being that this product is lightweight, I believe it is ideal for oily and combination skin. However, try the moisturizer even if you have dry skin it may work for you as well. You can purchase yourself a bottle here.
