If you can’t live without chips and always have a pack in store, then the recipe below is for you. It is a healthy alternative to your can’t-live-without snack, that is also creative and delicious. Don’t miss the opportunity to make it and treat yourself to crunchy and flavoury tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas or regular size whole wheat tortillas (check the labels if you need vegan or gluten-free tortillas)

  • 4 limes, juiced

  • 1tbs olive oil

  • About 4 tbs chipotle seasoning (pick the seasoning you like)

How to make

Start off by heating the oven to 350. Take a bowl and stir the lime juice and oil together in it. Take tortillas and coat them thoroughly with juice and oil by using a pastry brush. After that, cut the tortillas how you like and arrange the pieces on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle the pieces with chipotle seasoning (or any other seasoning of your preference). Bake the pieces for 12-15 min. If you see that some pieces are getting dark, it’s time to take them out. Also, if you feel that some of the pieces are flexible, worry not, they will crisp as they cool. Repeat the same steps until all tortilla pieces are cooked.
