One definite sign of spring in the student scene of Helsinki is the now-traditional pub crawl, Helsinginkadun Appro. Eager to take a break from studying for our finals, we put on our matching student overalls (and freakishly matchy-matchy shoes) and headed out for a fun evening.
The grey weather didn’t manage to dampen our spirits and it was great fun to explore the quirky bars of Kallio with masses of fellow students. For student-friendly prices and a relaxed atmosphere, Kallio is definitely the place to be and it was nice to discover some new hangouts as well as visiting old favourites.
The party continued late into the night and we definitely had a great time. Cheers!
