Interests: Theater, music, tv-series, dance… pop culture and performing arts in general. And lately dogs, because I am planning on getting one next year.
Describe a typical day in your life.
Right now my typical day involves pretty much just studying, because we have so many lectures and group work and essays to do. I spend a lot of time studying in Kaisa or Aleksandria, because I enjoy that “study environment” so much. A typical day would also involve some sort of meeting in the evening, usually about speksi, in which I do costumes and make-up and sell tickets.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Haha, this is so bad but I actually listen to the music of former Disney Channel stars when I write essays.
What would your dream job be?
Producing contents on different kind of medias and platforms of art. Cliché, I know.
What do you like most about yourself?
My bravery in the way that I usually face my fears.
What made you choose your major?
I wanted to attend theater school for years, but then last year I suddenly became drawn to the academic world. Theology to me is about dealing with the same questions as art – existence, humanity, love and so on.
If you were a fictional character, who would you be?
I’d be a female regeneration of the Doctor on Doctor Who.
Who’s your celebrity crush?
I don’t have one at the moment and I’m quite sad about it.
What Hogwarts house would you belong to?
Okay, this is like the geekiest thing I do, but sorting people into Hogwarts houses is my private hobby, and therefore I can’t answer shortly to this. I’ve read dozens of articles on different perspectives to look at the houses and their characteristics and I’ve pretty much sorted everyone I know with careful consideration. I have some basic features of a Rawenclaw, but I’m actually quite a typical Gryffindor. The discrimination towards both Hufflepuffs and Slytherins makes me angry, because in my opinion Rowling’s biggest mistake was the way of describing those two. All the houses have pros and cons, so let’s not be housists, shall we?
What is you favorite quote?
I get stressed out by things very easily but I a have a good ‘keep calm’ mantra, which is a quote by Nelson Mandela: ‘It always seems impossible until it is done.’ And it’s so true.
Who’s your idol?
To continue from the previous answer, Nelson Mandela and the rest of the gang with him in prison. The way they managed to stay out of the circle of hate is admirable beyond words.
