What is your favorite thing to do after an exam?
I like to walk to some calm and pretty nook of Helsinki and smoke a mini-cigar.
Why did you decide to study English?
Well firstly because English is a beautiful, expressive language with an intriguing history and I’m a sucker for words. Secondly, I grew up abroad so English has also been the language of my heart from an early age. Thirdly, English is a major you can team up with pretty much anything.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Henry David Thoreau, because the man lived alone by a pond for two years and wrote an epic book about it.
What is your spirit animal?
A red panda for no other reason than they have the coolest tails in the whole animal kingdom and they laze around in trees all day long.
Describe the perfect afternoon.
That’s too difficult, but I can list some elements a perfect afternoon would be made of: freshly ground coffee, my favorite tunes, sunshine, my favorite man, orange juice and no agenda.
What would be your dream job?
Finding venues for the voiceless to have a voice. I don’t quite know what the looks like yet.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
I’m going to stay true to my nerdy roots and say nothing is ever going to beat The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
