Your 20s As Told By Friends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hawaii chapter.

Our college years, especially our 20s, are the most influential times in our lives. We experience a lot of things, meet a lot of people, and face a lot of problems. Who knows this better than our beloved Friends? Take notes as they guide us through these wonderous years.

There’s an event with free food? Go to it.

Don’t let anyone judge you for all of the naps you take. They’re necessary to function.

And you know why.

Which is exactly why five cups of coffee a day is completely acceptable.

Make the most out of everything.

Let your inner child out!

Girls nights and guys nights are essential.

Deal with your problems, or do something about them.

Rule of thumb at any age: never drink and drive.

Work hard now, so you get the job that you’ve always wanted.

Don’t let anyone tell you how you should look. You are beautiful!

This is the time in your life to experiment and try new things.

We all have one of these days. Or 3. Or 5.

So sometimes alcohol.

We all have our insecurities. You’re not alone.

Your friends have got your back.

Because these are the friends you’re going to have for life.
