Student recommendation: It’s a very suspenseful action. It’s really good and unpredictable; it constantly keeps you on your toes. I also like the fact that the author doesn’t tell you the whole story right away either, he makes you wait which causes you to really try and dissect everything.

Author: Chuck Palahnuik
Student recommendation: I recommend Chuck Palahnuik’s Choke. It’s a gritty, abrasive novel with dark humor. It’s satirical in a way and if you don’t get offended easily, it’s and interesting, exciting read.

Author: Stieg Larsson
Student recommendation: Very good! Suspenseful, big mystery book, but like a thriller mystery not a boring mystery.

Title: Crime and Punishment
Author: Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Student recommendation: I like it because it goes into the psychology of crime and punishment, hence the title. I recommend it because it tis suspenseful and complex because it makes the reader think about what is a worse punishment: guilt or an actual punishment. There’s also a love story for the girls back home.
