After two beautiful weeks, it looks like our luck with Cambridge weather has run out: the forecast predicts heavy rain every day for this coming week. Getting dressed is already a struggle as we dive into midterm season, but we all know it’s even worse when it’s so wet and gross outside. Here is my go-to outfit for beating those lazy, rainy days:
Shoes. Confession: I’ve always hated rain boots. They’re usually just so chunky and . . . well, unattractive. But the invention of pointed toe rain boots has saved my poor feet from being cold and wet in the rain.
Jacket. You can never go wrong with an olive utility jacket. It’s definitely a closet staple, and make sure it’s waterproof!
Top. A grey t-shirt. Simple and classic: it goes with everything.
Accessories. To brighten up a dark and dreary day, throw on a coral scarf. It will look lovely with your olive jacket and make you feel like springtime again (maybe…).
