This weekend marks Open House for the prospective/early decision freshmen of Hampton University. Open House or Honors Visitation Weekend allows students who have been accepted into Hampton University early or stil deciding whether to apply the opportunity to live like a college student for a weekend.
Students started to arrive Thursday afternoon for registeration where the Student Recruitment Team (SRT) greeted the eager students and hosted a movie night and dinner for them. Friday night SRT hosted a party for the future Hamptonians to see how to party like a pirate. Saturday campus tours and seminars were given to the prospectives.
Sunday ends the event with a service at the University chapel. Hamptonians are always excited when the time for new freshmen to arrive. This class will be known as Ogre Phi Ogre 16. As a member of Ogre Phi Ogre 15 I cannot wait to adopt littles and welcome them to their Home by the Sea.
