Name: Mariah Summers

Classification: Senior

Major: Broadcast Journalism, Cinema Studies Minor

Hometown: Poughkeepsie, New York

HC: What is your favorite color?

MS: Pink, even though I wear black everyday.

HC: What is your favorite season?

MS: Summer

HC: What are you involved in on campus?

MS: I’m a staff writer for The Odyssey, I’m part of the Film and Television Society, and I dance on Majestic of course.

HC: Do you like sweet or sour better?

MS: Well I’ve always had a sweet tooth, but I’m always snacking on sour things as well, so I’ll say I like a combination of both.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

MS: In 10 years I see myself as a producer at a well established television network or at least producing original content for a TV show or web series.

HC: What’s your favorite thing about Hampton men?

MS: I would say my favorite thing about Hampton Men is how they dress. I’m into fashion and I love to see the way guys here put together different outfits from business pro in their snazzy suits to their everyday casual look.

HC: What do you want for Christmas?

MS: I would like a job offer for Christmas. That would make my life. But on a more serious note, I don’t want anything specific. Honestly, I just want to spend some quality time with my family since I haven’t seen them since August. But some money would be nice too!

HC: What do you look for in a guy?

MS: I like a guy who has a lot of ambition, shows respect, and has a great sense of humor. Without the qualities, I won’t be satisfied.

HC: Long or short hair?

MS: I love short hair because it’s fun, spunky, and demands attention. I love myself a nice bob and pixie’s are super cute too but I’m not sure if I could pull it off.
