This week’s Hampton Man Crush is Mr. Cameron Abney! Ladies, I think you are going to find this Hampton Man pretty handsome. Cameron is a junior electrical engineering major from Pensacola, Florida. He is twenty years old. In Cameron’s spare time, he enjoys promoting and hosting parties. He also enjoys doing the latest dances from any region, but his favorite dance right now is one of the hottest ones out – the “Hit Dem Folks Dance!”
Cameron is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and is also a Greer Dawson Student Leader. As a Student Leader, he puts on various events for freshman students on campus. As an Alpha, he gives back by teaching kids how to step, hosts food drives, and participates in the March of Dimes initiative, which is a walk that raises awareness about premature birth. He is currently joining with OPHIO to host a necktie seminar and “tie drive” where ties will be donated by Hampton students.
Now, it’s time for the fun part! Q&A!
HC: What do you find most attractive about a woman?
HMC: I’m definitely a sucker for eyes and personality! I’m a live and funny guy, so if you’re boring I don’t think that I could rock with you.
HC: Eyebrows on fleek or hair on fleek?
HMC: Hair on fleek.
HC: Do you like loafers or sneakers?
HMC: I’ve never been a fan of sneakers like that. So loafers – I’d much rather be comfortable and stylish rather than trendy and uncomfortable.
HC: If you could create the most romantic date, what would it be?
HMC: It depends on what she likes. I’m very attentive. Say she likes a certain type of food or place, I’m going to randomly pick her up and take her out.
HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
HMC: Megan Good!
HC: Do you believe in finding a spouse in college?
HMC: Definitely don’t waste my time.
HC: What is something that you’ve tried but never want to try again?
HMC: Tofu, it was gross and it tasted like I was eating a rubber ball but I do like sushi and California rolls.
HC: How important are first impressions?
HMC: First impressions are everything. You only get 7 seconds to form 11 opinions about someone. So, what will be the 11 opinions that someone says about you?
HC: What do you think is your best feature?
HMC: I’m personable, inviting and friendly.
HC: Would you rather be called sexy or smart?
HMC: I want to be both but if I had to pick, I’d prefer to be smart.
HC: Give us a word of advice.
HMC: “Work while you’re tired so that you can rest when you’ve made it.”
HC: What’s your motto?
HMC: “No one owes you anything.”
