Are you that person that makes resolutions for the New Year that never quite get accomplished? Are you thinking of having better overall health or just improving your self esteem? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I’m about to give you the advice you’ve been looking for to make 2020 the year of your glow up! This year is all about growing and glowing, right? Let’s make it happen!

Inward Beauty Reflects

When you don’t feel good mentally, that negativity impacts you physically. Many times when we don’t feel good mentally we tend to shut people or things out which can sometimes be beneficial. However, a lot of times it can be things in our day to day schedule or things we enjoy doing. Being mindful about taking care of yourself mentally will help you feel better about yourself overall.

Dare to be DIFFERENT

Trying something new this year could be a great addition to your glow up. Steering away from your old patterns or habits could really help free up your time and energy. Whether it’s trying a new hairstyle, incorporating a workout routine or even trying out a new hobby, make your path the way YOU want it to be. Conforming to the norms of others will never give you the best satisfaction because it’s not coming from within.

Seize Every Moment

Are you really going to sit back and let your the prime years of your life pass you by? You have to go after the opportunities you don’t think you’re qualified for. I mean, what do you actually have to lose? When you take advantage of every opportunity, you can’t say that you didn’t try it or it was a “lost cause” because at least you tried. Who knows, you might even enjoy whatever you decide to try.

Make Happiness a Top Priority

There’s nothing like the glow of happiness. We can get so caught up in making others happy or going through the motions of our day to day lives that we forget about making ourselves happy. You can’t keep putting yourself on the back burner forever! When you let happiness come into your life more abundantly, it will definitely have you radiating! Take some time to do things that make YOU happy this year! Nothing’s wrong with a little more me-time.

Once you’ve done all the tips listed above, you’ll begin to notice an overall change in your behavior, responses to life’s circumstances, and mood. Glowing up isn’t always about makeup or hair, it’s about working internally to make yourself happy. Materialistic things don’t always suffice when it comes to cultivating genuine happiness.
