Below freezing temperatures are now the norm, it’s starting to snow, and people are already playing Christmas music- yeah, winter is here! So that means it’s time to grab the coats, cable knit sweaters, and lots of Opus chai lattes, because tis the season for giving and getting. With all the winter trends seen this year, this is my wish list of classic must have items for winter at Hamilton. Leather was huge this year! From pants, to sweaters, to hats, leather was everywhere. Maybe not the smartest choice to want leather pants in the winter, but sometimes we have to suffer for fashion; a saying I know a little too well. Besides, it won’t be winter forever! Maybe I have a thing for leather, and maybe I also love oversized things, but an oversized leather bag is another classic must-have item. The great thing about a quality leather bag is that they are extremely durable and can last for years. They can also be worn any time of the year, and they always compliment the outfit you’re wearing.

Funny Pullover Sweaters
Sweaters are one of the only things that can make me like the cold. Wearing them is also how I actually survive the winter. My favorite types of sweaters are the ones that are fashionable, yet urban and youthful. I love statement sweaters that make a joke or have great art on them! These sweaters stand out on their own. They’re simple, but say a lot too.

Sweater Dress & Accessories
One thing I love about winter outfits are the accessories: thigh/knee high socks, gloves, and scarves. All these can make an impact on any boring outfit. However, what I hate is that sometimes, in the cold, wearing a dress/skirt and knee-highs may not be the warmest choice. Therefore, I think a valuable item in any closet for the winter would have to be a sweater dress. They’re sexy, warm, cover a lot, and also have the option of being worn with thigh/knee high socks. Add any array of accessories such as a cable knit infinity scarf and/or a pair of leather gloves, and this is the perfect winter outfit.
