This past Saturday GW held Relay for Life. For those of you who don’t know what Relay for Life is, it ‘s an event hosted by The American Cancer Society celebrating those who have battled cancer, remembering loved ones lost, and helping to raise money to fight back against the disease. It was a twelve-hour event where teams came out to the Lerner Health and Wellness Center and took turns walking the track. Many different teams participated in Relay. There were numerous student organizations, professional fraternities, sport teams, fraternities and sororities, and groups of friends who formed their own teams. Events took place all night long to keep everyone entertained like tie-dying, food eating contests, video game contests, and several DJs to name just a few. It was a fun filled night for a great cause!
