George Washington University’s Greek Life is growing each and every year. Two weeks ago, hundreds of excited girls received bids from one of the ten panhellenic chapters on Bid day. Later that afternoon, all of the sororities gather in University Yard awaiting the arrival of their new pledge classes. Each pledge class arrives one by one from the Marvin Center, led by Pi Rho Chi’s, who lead songs and bring them to their chapters. Once they arrive it is instant chaos. There is tons of screaming, singing, hugging, jumping around and of course it’s a major Kodak moment. This is one of the most memorable days of a new girl’s sorority experience.
