Last night was the “Countdown to Juan Pablo”. ABC faked us out – this isn’t the real thing; that comes tonight. But we still got a never before seen look at how the girls are picked! This behind the scenes sneak peek at the selection was one word…awkward. New dream job: producer for the Bachelor so I can be in charge of watching all of these hilarious and embarrassing casting videos.
“My eggs are not becoming more fertile”
“Mom, why should I be on the bachelor?” “Because you need a boyfriend”
“I hope it’s Brooks or Chris”
Priceless.
Lucinda: Her occupation is Free Spirit? Is there an application I can fill out for that job? PS her bio on abc.go.com is questionable (she refers to Kate Upton as her best friend and I can’t tell if it’s sarcasm).
Lauren: “Mineral Consultant”? I hope that has something to do with diamonds.
Elise: The book to learn Spanish next to her bed is either smart or creepy, I can’t tell yet.
Chelsea: Whoever convinced her it would look cute to poke her head through those sunflowers was wrong.
Alli: Had the most normal reaction to getting a rose, but then killed it by asking old couples for advice. Most likely another producer mistake.
Christy: I like your crop top.
And now the part we’ve all been waiting for…footage of Juan Pablo shirtless, stretching, and working out while talking about love. You have to love ABC for always giving us this combo.
He’s been practicing his English? Let’s hope he never loses that accent. And that picture of Juan Pablo as a baby with glasses was PRICELESS.
Camilla is just as cute as Juan Pablo was riding on that fire truck in the park. And when he sang to her in the car? So adorable. I love that we got to meet his family before the last episode and get some of their “advice” (let’s hope he ignores the cousin that told him to keep his shirt on).
RIP Gia, such a sad moment for the Bachelor. You can tell they really care about their cast members on and off the show with this tribute.
I can’t wait to see what cheesy pick up lines the girls say to Juan Pablo as their first impression and who gets kicked off the first night. Are there any favorites yet? As always, it seems like the most dramatic season EVER…
