While you may see this campus cutie at the Library’s front desk, Nada Sedyame is not confined to the books. On her spear time, she enjoys doing photography, photo shoots, and she loves to travel. In fact, she has visited countries on three different continents!

How many countries have you visited?

“So far, I have visited 6 countries (Morocco, Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, and Bahamas).”

Which one is your favorite?

“This is such a hard decision. They are all beautiful and unique, but the winner is Morocco. I come from a Moroccan family, so visiting Morocco is always exciting. When I travel to Morocco, I feel like I’m in a different universe. The beaches are beautiful, the food is amazing, the architecture is unique and visiting my family there is always a plus!”

Which countries would you love to visit?

“Greece, Turkey, Brazil, Thailand, and Australia.”

Describe your dream vacation.

“I always wanted to go to Greece. This country has a rich history. I would love to tour Greece’s amazing cities and visit their world renowned beaches. Swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, tanning, and eating Greek food would definitely be the best getaway for me!”

What do you enjoy doing on your spare time?

“Sometimes I love to do adventurous things, while other times I prefer to stay at home and relax. Honestly, it depends on my mood. I love watching shows on Netflix, but I also enjoy hanging out with family and friends, doing photography, cooking, or hiking to the top of Stone Mountain.”

What is the most romantic thing your boyfriend has ever done for you?

“The most romantic thing would definitely be the time he picked me up on Valentines Day in a LIMOUSINE! I walked outside expecting him to pick me up in his car but instead I saw a black stretch limo. I’ve never been in a limo before so it was exciting to see him dressed up near the limo with roses and a teddy bear. It was definitely an amazing night driving around Atlanta being with the guy I love! I will never forget that night; he made me feel like a princess!”

What is your dream job?

 “Interior design!”

How would your best friends describe you?

“Caring, Adventurous, Stylish, Trustworthy, Humble, and all around fun!”

What is your favorite activity to do with friends?

“I am a very outgoing person, so I do a lot of adventurous things with my friends like going to concerts, running marathons, water rafting and traveling. Even though I love hanging out with my friends sometimes our schedules don’t permit, which is why I always make time to go to lunch or dinner with them to catch up. After all who doesn’t like food and a good conversation?”

What is your favorite clothing store?

“Zara.”

What is one thing you cannot live without?

“Love! I don’t mean it in a romantic sense but just in general. It’s important to love what you do and most importantly you always have to love yourself. I could not imagine living in a world without love.”

What is your favorite restaurant?

“Wow there are so many to choose from, but my favorite is The Cheesecake Factory. Their desserts are amazing!”

What is your favorite dish?

“Seafood Bastilla, this is a traditional Moroccan dish.”

What is your favorite thing about Georgia State University?

“I love that GSU is located in the city. I also love the diversity of our student body. I can almost guarantee that we have students from almost any country. Oh yeah, I almost forgot GSU has some of the most fashionable and stylish students!”

What shows are you guilty of binge watching on Netflix?

“Where do I start? (she says while laughing). Grey’s Anatomy, Prison Break, Dexter, and Revenge!”

How do you relieve stress during finals week?

“I feel like every college student will be stressed regardless, so why not add some sweets to make you feel better? I am guilty of eating all sorts of sweets while studying, especially my weakness, CHOCOLATE!”

What is your favorite quote?

“The mind is everything. What you think you become.”

– Buddha

What is the best piece of advice you ever received?

“Do what makes you happy!”
