BASICS:

Name: Edward Hardman

Class Year: 2016

Major: English

Hometown: Chicago

TIME AT GRINNELL:

Best Sports Moment: Winning the 100 at Wartburg this season

Other Exciting Activities: Well, I write and paint

Favorite Prof: Tie between Jeremy Chen and Dean Bakopolous

Favorite Theme Party: The decades parties are cool… I never put enough time into my own costumes though.

Embarrassing First-Year Moment: I can’t think of one. But I’m sure there are some d hall moments with the football team.

LOVE LIFE:

Status: In a relationship

Deal-Breakers: Bad hygiene. You can’t teach a grown man something he should have learned as a kid.

Perfect Date: I’m not very romantic… Just chilling outside in nice weather would do it for me.

Most Attractive Quality in a Person: I really like thoughtfulness and initiative.

MISC:

Something People Don’t Know About You: I’m a lot nicer and more approachable than I seem. I can’t help but to look tense at times. I’ve been a pretty serious person most of my life.

Silliest Thing You’ve Done at Grinnell: This one’s hard because I’m a little uptight ( I admit)… But I used to take my shirt off at parties a lot. I don’t anymore. I’m maturing…

Advice for Incoming First-Years: Be yourself. Stick your head out there, but not too far out there. Play a sport.

Big Plans Post-Grinnell: Teach for America… away from home. Jersey maybe.

Dana Sherry is a Her Campus Contributing writer from Brooklyn, New York. She is a History major and a record-holding member of Grinnell's conference-winning swim team. Do not be fooled by the Lilly and bows: in her spare time, Dana is a dirty rap enthusiast and analyst. She also enjoys house music, interacting with small children and has an extensive collection of Essie and OPI nail polish that she (usually) does not mind sharing with her grateful friends.
Katy is the Her Campus Correspondent for Grinnell College. She is a junior psychology major and plans to go to graduate school for clinical psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, skiing, shopping, expanding her music collection, traveling and of course, coming home to her dogs (and the rest of her family).
