10 Times You Could Totally Relate to Mia Thermopolis

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gettysburg chapter.

Lately, rumors have been flying around that a Princess Diaries 3 is in the works. I, for one, rejoice at the prospect, if only because the protagonist, Princess (now Queen) Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Grinaldi, is so utterly relatable.

Here are a few experiences we’ve had with which I’m sure Mia would be able to identify:

When you look in the mirror each morning:

When you decide to actually make an effort:

When you walk into your morning class and your teacher announces a pop quiz:

When you hear about Donald Trump’s latest misogynistic and xenophobic comments:

Trying to get your friend’s attention during a lecture:

When all of your romantic expectations are inspired by Audrey Hepburn movies:

When someone gets too fresh:

When you can’t escape inevitable embarrassing situations:

When you finally stop caring what other people think:

Keep on slaying, Mia Thermopolis. You’re my #queen (literally).
