Known for being outspoken, smart, talented and having her own unique sense of style, Zendaya has been making splashes on news covers since her Disney days. Now, she has taken her life and career to another level by premiering a fashion line partnered with Tommy Hilfiger. The line premiered on March 2nd, during Paris Fashion Week, after being kept under wraps since September.
Zendaya has always had her own sense of style, from her baby blue Jonathan Simkhai ruffled crepe dress, to her iconic yellow Dolce & Gabbana Met Gala look from 2017. Instead of staying in her own lane, she has always seemed to decide to create her own, often with looks fresh off the runway. This time, she’s decided to step behind the curtain and make some looks her own.
With Tommy Hilfiger, Zendaya has created a catalog of fresh and casual looks, with a definite 70’s vibe to it. Complete with flared pants, trippy designs, and platform shoes, the line mixes the commonality of fashion today; old but new.Â
This isn’t the first time Zendaya has dabbled in the fashion industry. She opened and started her own fashion line and company, Daya by Zendaya, in July of 2016. Back then, her line was praised for being under $160 and its strives for inclusivity, having clothing sizes going up to a size 22. When she was designing products on her own, we were given a lot of velvet tracksuits and slip dresses, as well as casual jeans, shirts, and sweaters for the woman on the go.Â

Now that she has worked with a prominent fashion designer, are we watching her style evolve and grow with the times? Or is this new line with Tommy Hilfiger a way to further express herself while also giving the people (us!) the in-trend looks we want?
