I dedicated this summer to reading great books. Here are my top three novels for an easy summer reading list:

I Almost Forgot About You by Toni Morrison

A great book to read when trying to get over a break up or just embracing your inner self. This book is about a successful doctor who finds herself unhappy and lonely despite having great friends, family, and a career. In search for a second chance at love Dr. G digs up some old memories. This novel will remind you to never give up on finding a love.

You’re A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero

This book helps you explore yourself and embrace your beauty inside and out. This book is divided into five sections: How You Got This Way, How to Embrace your Inner Badass, How to Tap into the Motherlode, How to Get Over Your B.S. Already, and How to Kick Some Ass. All five of these sections lead to a phenomenal discovery of self and confidence.

Him Her Him Again the End of Him by Bargain Price

A hilarious and comedic novel about a woman’s romantic fixation on her very first boyfriend. This novel is laugh out loud funny and will guarantee to put you in a good mood. Beginning in college the novel is easy to relate to.

I am an Atlanta native and I am very social once you get to know me. I am an Early-Childhood Education major at Georgia Southern University with a concentration in teaching grades 3-5 with intent of impacting their lives in the most positive way possible. I am often referred to as "not your average girl", I love to shop, hang out with my friends, and get my nails done, however I can play NBA2k on PlayStation all day as well. I thoroughly enjoy weekends at home watching Netflix and relaxing. I am a formal personal blogger with hopes of sharing my personal thoughts with the entire HerCampus community. "A lot of people resist transition and therefore never allow themselves to enjoy who they are. Embrace the change, no matter what it is; once you do, you can learn about the new world you're in and take advantage of it." - Nikki Giovanni
