1. Love yourself. As women we all at some point struggle with self confidence and self love. No one is perfect and we are all different in our own way. As women we all come in different  Take what you may dislike about yourself and either change it (if possible), OR the learn to love it and embrace it. No woman is built the same, has the same hair, skin complexion, or thoughts. Build yourself up. Look in the mirror and tell yourself your beautiful, your confident, and your smart.

2. Take a break and read. Reading is a fundamental of learning that increases your intelligence and knowledge about the world. There has been a large decline in reading in society due to the rise of social media use. Social media is a very negative space and a false reality. Its causes people to disconnect from the real world and want to be apart of a false one. Social media has cause an impact on young people’s ability to communicate and be social. It presents false expectations of life. Consider doing a social media cleanse and log out of your accounts for 3-6 months and see how lightweight and in tune with the world you will be.Social media is one of the most frying and negatively impacting things apart of society. instead of reading memes and twitter feeds read a book.

3. Establish Independence. You don’t need a man for reassurance. As a women you can do anything you want on your own. A man in your life should be a companion not someone to depend on for everything. You don’t need a man to be a woman, to make money, or thrive in society. You can do it all on your own; Be the breadwinner. Love is nice, but don’t use men, sex, or a relationship as a substitute for something else that’s lacking. The right man will come along is due time. Also it’s important to have friends, male and female, to keep you grounded and to spend time with. You are who you hang around so watch who you keep in your inner circle and only surround yourself with positivity and love.

4. Find your niche. what are you good at? Find the one thing that you would be happy to do for free that is your passion, that’s what will make you happy in the long run.

5. Eat healthy. Eating and maintaining a balanced diet can and is scientifically proven to make you feel so much better about yourself. It all starts from the inside, what you put inside your body shows on the outside. Watch your carb intake because carbs cause bloating and is the key to added fat on your waistline. Carbs are bread, rice, and extra sugar too. Eat more fruits and vegetables, the darker the green vegetable the better, and add healthy proteins to your diet, like chicken, and fish. Also its ok to treat yourself. eat the chocolate, cake, cookies, or candy bar, just in moderation. Dark chocolate is one of the healthier options.

6. Drink water. Water is the best thing for you. Your body is 50- 60% made up of water ( it varies on age and gender). Water cleanses your system and aids in healthy clear skin, balance bodily fluids, controls calories, keeps you energized, and keeps you refreshed. Water helps clear out your kidneys as well. To know if your drinking enough water check your urine. It should be about clear, if your urine is a dark yellow then your not drinking enough water. Stay away from soda, the carbonation is bad for you, especially dark sodas like Coke and Pepsi. And too much sugar in drinks like, lemonade is bad for you too. Also too much alcohol is high in calories. For a body detox and cleanse your system add some fruit like, lemons, strawberries and cucumbers to your water.

7. Exercise. Exercise is a stress reliever, and keeps you mentally and psychically fit. Everyone should do some type of workout a few times a week. Any physically activity that boost your heart rate, gets your blood pumping, and makes you sweat is typically a workout; excluding sex! Try yoga, swimming, walking, running, taking up a intramural sport at your school, going to the gym, or going bike ride. Everyone should get at least an hour of exercise a day.

8. Spirituality– find and connection with your meaning of life.what are your values and beliefs? Your spirituality can be one with religion, the environment, the universe or whatever you want it to be. Take time to disconnect form the negative things around you and pray, meditate, read your bible, or devotional. A good connection with God or another spiritual outlet will never fail you and is something you can always fall back on when you feel down or need to relax.

Set goals: whether it be work, money, fitness or food; set goals for yourself. Setting goals shows yourself you have drive and ambition towards something.
