There are so many books out there that can make us feel good, make us feel empowered, inspired, and motivated. We could all use a little refresher, motivator, or a pick me up if you will these days. I am going to share my top 8 books for self-care and self-empowerment that all women need to add to their must-read lists! 

Here is the list of inspirational and empowering books: 

1. Find Your Unicorn Space by Eve Rodsky

This book is great for someone who has been stuck with how to get creative or just hasn’t made time for it. Readers will be able to channel their creativity after finishing this book. 

2. Body Talk by Katie Sturino

Body Talk is all about knocking down the negativity we hold against our bodies and Katie teaches us about how we can unlearn the toxic beauty standards we have been taught. 

3. Untamed by Glennon Doyle

This author walks readers through how she has been able to live an authentic life and how we can do the same. 

4. Believe It by Jamie Kern Lima

The founder of IT Cosmetics, Jamie Kern Lima shares her inspiring story in this book of how she was able to knock down the unbelievable standards of beauty and teach us how to overcome this ourselves. 

5. Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling

This book shares with us the author’s journey of how to find enthusiasm and excitement within all areas of life.

This book is for those who need guidance on how to create a life that you truly love as well as how to better self-care.

7. Cringeworthy by Melissa Dahl 

Cringeworthy is a book that will show you how the little or large awkward moments we experience in our lives can be teaching moments. 

8. More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth 

Author, Elaine Welteroth shares lessons on success, race, and identity.
