Kora: Campus Correspondent’s Pup

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at GCSU chapter.

You’ve met Her Campus GCSU’s Campus Correspondents, but have you met their pets? Both Shelby and Mallory adore their dogs more than anything. This week, we sat down with Mallory’s crazy pup, Kora, and discussed what it’s like to live with a CC.

Her Campus GCSU: Hey Kora, how has your day been?

Kora: I’ve gone on two of my three daily walks and chewed on my favorite bone from my collection, so I would say it has been a solid day.

HC GCSU: Tell us a bit about yourself.

KORA: I am a Corgi and German Shepherd mix, so I look like a very short and very long German Shepherd. I am full of energy, so I love to run, play and dig, but I also love to cuddle.

HC GCSU: Where are you from?

KORA: Well, Mallory’s roommate brought me home from a retreat center, expecting to give me a home, but she was not allowed to keep me. Thankfully, Mallory was able to step in and give me a forever home.

HC GCSU: What is a bad habit of yours?

KORA: I chew on anything and EVERYTHING. Last week, I ate two tubes of lip balm. I often get in trouble for chewing on the seashells my mommy’s back yard.

HC GCSU: What do you and your owner do to have fun?

KORA: Mallory and I like to go for walks and cuddle while watching Netflix. She gives great belly rubs.

HC GCSU: Who is your best pup-friend?

KORA: I would have to say my older sister, Trixie. She is always there to guide me even though I am much younger and can be annoying at times. As for my best human-friend, of course, it is Mallory. Every time she comes home from school, I just get so excited and shower her with kisses!
