To get from Furman University to Myrtle Beach is a 4 hour and 8-minute drive. If you choose to open an account with Trip Advisor under your Furman email, you will automatically receive reduced resort pricing. Myrtle Beach offers activities like parasailing, kayaking, and nightlife.

Hilton Head

Hilton Head is a 3 hour and 53-minute drive from Furman University. This island offers a Live Outdoor Adventure Company for a chance to see dolphins in the water, and sharks feeding. There are fantastic dining options such as Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks, and Skull Creek Boathouse.

Charleston

Charleston, South Carolina is 3 hours and 17 minutes away from Furman University. If you are looking for a quiet spot look no further than Sullivan’s Island. If instead you are looking for a Beach with some tourists, Folly Beach is your go-to.

Miami

The flight from Greenville, South Carolina (GSP AIRPORT) to Miami, Florida (MIA AIRPORT) is 2 hours and 5 minutes. South beach is a must see, with nightclub options like Mangos, South Beach’s favorite dinner show nightclub. LIV Nightclub, at Fontainebleau, offers performances by stars like 2-Chainz and Nicki Minaj during these well-known party months.
