Breanna has been one of my very best friends ever since we were little babies our freshman year. She was one of the first people I met when we both started in the summer of 2010, and we have been close ever since. Whenever I think of Breanna, I think about dance. Breanna is an amazing dancer, and is so incredibly passionate about it. It is so great to see her on Seminole Dance Force because I know how happy it makes her to do what she loves on the stage. I have been to a bunch of performances by them and they kill it every time. Meet the lovely Breanna McKnight, and see what she has to say about her experience being a co-captain for Seminole Dance Force!

Her Campus (HC): Going into this school year, what were your personal and team goals for Seminole Dance Force?
Breanna McKnight (BM): Going into this school year, my personal goals for Seminole Dance Force were to be a leader that my team could count on, and be there for them if they needed help with dance or anything outside of dance. I wanted to be a leader that my team respected, [and] a leader that my team would want to listen to what I had to say, because I wanted to be the best [this year]. Our team [goal was] to work together in order to have amazing performances and that is exactly what we did!
HC: What else do you hope to accomplish with the team before this school year is over?
BM: Before this school year is over, a goal that we are all trying to accomplish is to be great at Nationals in April. We are working really hard, and I know it is going to pay off.
HC: What does it mean to you to be one of the co-captains for Seminole Dance Force?
BM: It means a lot to me to be co-captain of Seminole Dance Force. I love dancing, I love dancing with these girls, and I love that I am able to help with a team that l am so passionate about.
HC: What are the benefits that you have experienced from being a part of this team?
BM: My experience at FSU would not be the same if I was not a part of Seminole Dance Force. I have been able to perform at huge events like the Pow Wow, the Homecoming parade, Cheers for Children, Dance Marathon, and so many other great organizations.
HC: Have you experienced any struggles or setbacks? If so, how do you get through it?
BM: We have experienced some struggles throughout the year, but as a team we put in extra time and extra hard work to get what we need done.
HC: If you were able to choreograph a dance with anyone, who would it be?
BM: If I were able to choreograph a dance with anyone, we all know who that would be: the King, the Queen, my everything, Beyoncé.
