A hidden gem of Tallahassee, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park is made up of winding paths lined with colorful flowers and trees. Walking down these paths will eventually lead you to the reflective pool, a long, glassy pool in an open area known for holding various formal events.
Alfred B. Maclay Gardens began with Alfred B. and Louise Maclay planting gardens on the property that they had just purchased for their winter home. Since then, Maclay Gardens has been known to attract bicyclists, hikers, and equestrians alike to their brick paths, open greenways, and charming scenery. Although it is known as a place for special occasions, Maclay Gardens can be perfect for just a walk through the park on a cool autumn day.
