On Saturday, March 3 the men of Kappa Delta Rho and the women of Pi Beta Phi took off to Barnes and Noble in Greenwood, Ind. to join together and raise money for the Boys’ and Girls’ club of Franklin, Ind.
The team hung out at the store with games, snacks and coloring pages to greet the children who came in that day in honor of Dr. Suess’ birthday. Each child received a stuffed animal, a character from a Dr. Suess book, when they arrived in the children’s section of the store. As their parents were checking out they then showed the toy and ten percent of their purchase would be donated to the Boys’ and Girls’ Club. the event was a great success and fun for all who attended.
