Describe your style in three words: laid back, mood-driven, unpredictable

Outfit details: Jacket: Nordstrom/Top: Urban Outfitters/Denim: Zara/Scarf: Nordstrom/Boots: Chinese Laundry

Why did you choose this outfit? My outfit really depends on my mood that morning. On this day, I felt like wearing something a little edgier than usual. For this reason, I dressed from the outer layers in; I paired my embellished moto boots with a black skull scarf to bring out my “bad”side. I also decided that due to the weather (and my mood), I would wear my military jacket. To keep with the dark hues of my accessories, I went for a simple combo of black denim and a grey knit top. The top has a white ruffle at the hem, which served as my touch of girly for the day.

Any tips for Fordham fashionistas? A wardrobe isn’t made up of several pieces that are each having a moment. Build up an arsenal of useful pieces, from basics to embellishments. You’ll find that these things fit together in infinite combinations, like interchangeable puzzle pieces. You’ll know you’ve compiled a real wardrobe when you no longer spend thirty minutes staring at your closet each morning, because outfits will have started to create themselves.
