HBO Max is Taking Over As The Most Popular Streaming Service and Here’s Why

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FIU chapter.

In light of the global pandemic, we need entertainment now more than ever. The best form of entertainment has been the phenomenon of streaming services. HBO Max exceeded our expectations by taking over as the new streaming home of the hit TV show “Friends.” Among the many sitcoms they offer, The Nanny is by far the most memorable, considering that this marks the first time the show has ever been on a streaming platform. They have also been an amazing platform for the release of new movies for limited access while they are playing in theaters. They offer a safer way to enjoy new movies without ever having to leave your home!

The HBO Max original shows are award-winning pieces that have been rivaling the success of Netflix original shows. With hits like the Gossip Girl reboot and Mare of Easttown, you’ll never complain about having nothing to watch! HBO Max is also the home for many reunions such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion and the Friends reunion as well. They are the home of many classic cartoons such as “The Flintstones” and “Looney Tunes.”  This is excellent news because now we can enjoy all the Disney classics on Disney+ and the rest of the classics on HBO Max. The new streaming service also offers a variety of classic sitcoms and action/adventure movies. HBO Max is reasonably priced at $15 a month.
