Blair Waldorf, where to even begin to describe her. Her great sense of fashion and her need to rule everything and anyone have made her the ultimate powerful woman. While most people look up to the Kardashians or the Beyonces of the world, I look to Blair Waldorf. Not only does she have amazing taste in clothing, she is a powerful woman, she knows what she wants and how to get it and never settles for anything less. I have composed a list of my personal favorite Blair Waldorf quotes that every girl in her 20’s should live by.
1. “Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.”
While fate is something out of our control, it can only take you so far. You have to work for what you want and give it your all, if you met your goal than great! Even if it wasn’t meant to be, your hard work will get you something else. The key is to not give up.
2. “Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It’s movement, design, and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we’d like to be.”
Our personal sense of style says more about us than we know. Whether it’s a job interview or a first date, a first impression is key. What better way to make this statement than with our individual fashion. Dress for what you want to be and how you want people to see you.

I think most of us are definitely more guilty of thinking with our heart than our head, and while we should listen to our heart (to some degree), it is also important to think with our head and more importantly, to keep them both balanced. Too much heart and your emotions could be all over the place. If you only think with the first thing that comes to your head, you could be missing out on a lot. Keep them both in check, and live your life according to you, not anyone else.

Fact of life: love comes and goes. If you’re lucky to find it now, then that’s great! Even if you haven’t found it, that’s okay too. Your time will come. Heartbreak is a part of life, and yeah maybe when it happens you’ll want to drown yourself in a pint of Ben and Jerry’s, but in the end you grow from it and learn new lessons for your next relationship. Always remember that you come first. Don’t settle for anything less than what you deserve.

By far my favorite Blair Waldorf quote, not only because I love mimosas, but just because things may not go your way, that doesn’t mean your life is over. If you fail, maybe it’s best to take a step back and pour yourself that mimosa while you try and figure life out a bit.
