As a beauty consumer myself, I’m always trying to make my makeup collection as diverse as can be! I always have people asking me for a good brand for eyeshadow, or face products, or literally anything. I’ve put together a list of brands that have AMAZING products and are completely black-owned. This is by no means the end-all-be-all of lists and I encourage you to do your own research!

This brand is based out of Nigeria, and let me tell you, their products are beautiful. Their complexion products are A-1 & they have everything from eyelashes to lip glosses. 3. OPV Beauty
Based out of East London, OPV Beauty is owned by two sisters who always dreamed of having an inclusive and ethical cosmetics brand. They not only sell makeup products, but they also sell hair products and wigs! Their products are available online. You should definitely check them out, you will not be disappointed.
4. Whip Lashed
A black-owned lash brand? Yes, please! These lashes are so beautiful, high quality, and affordable! They’re even endorsed by the queen herself, Jackie Aina. They have three types of lashes in so many styles, there’s something for everyone! You can buy their products online.
5. Beauty Bakerie
You’ve probably heard of this brand, with their cute packaging and amazing face powders. Beauty Bakerie sells outstanding products for the entire face, while also being cruelty free and having the cutest packaging. Having your face powder come in a flour bag? Amazing. I remember when this brand came out and everyone was shook. I specifically remember watching YouTube and seeing someone review their liquid lipsticks … and I went and got them the next day.
