When it comes to the topic of hair removal, collegiettes want nothing to do with it.  But fear no more because the Her Campus Spring Break Survival Kit includes an amazing product that I highly recommend. The secret to silky smooth skin and not fearing hair removal has been found with Completely Bare, and their Beauty To Go Sample Wax Pack.

From their professional spa in Madison Square in New York City, Completely Bare offers many ways approaches to hair removal.  In this case, I used the wax strips.  They are hypoallergenic and safe to use, but I was still nervous as I do have fairly sensitive skin and have experienced horrible outcomes with other products.

Completely Bare really did surprise me.  It was easy to use and the company did stay true to its motto of, “No Heat, No Fuss and No Mess”.

One tip before using the product would be to make sure you have a sufficient amount of hair for removal. Another great tip is to make sure your skin is exfoliated and doesn’t have any type of oils for the same reason that the strips would stick better.

Now for the action: Place a strip on the palm of your hand so that the heat of your hands activates the wax.  Next, just peel the plastic off, press onto the designated area, rub to make sure it’s secure, and then peel off.  Bam! You have smooth skin.

In regards to pain, I have an extremely low pain tolerance.  What I really loved about this product was that it didn’t hurt at all! That’s something that I personally consider in purchasing a waxing product.  I would recommend it to any collegiette on the go, it’s handy to have and very useful!  Happy Waxing!
