Sh*t Girls Say When Starbucks Brings Out Their Red Cups

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

November 1st marks an extremely important day for us avid coffee drinkers. On this very day, Starbucks released its new holiday themed cups for the wintry season. Here are some of the things that girls say when Starbucks brings out their much-anticipated red cups.

Holiday Cups? I need Christmas like right now.

*Tries to figure out what the pattern on the cup actually is*

I don’t think you understand how happy I am.

Starbucks has lured me in once again.

Wow this cup is amazing. Even better than last year’s design.

I’ve waited a whole 10 months for this.

Does this color cup make me look less basic?

This cup in itself has made my Monday a whole lot more bearable.

*Girl walks into Starbucks thinking she is priority/royalty*

Is a picture of my drink Insta-worthy?

Did I really just buy expensive coffee so I could carry the new cup?

*Sees person not carrying a Starbucks coffee*

*Sees a person carrying cup* “If that’s not a peppermint mocha, you’re doing it wrong.”

All I want to do is grab a coffee and sit by the fire in the living room and watch Christmas movies.

*It’s the most wonderful time of the year*

Will I be judged if I go up and buy one more?

*Tells boyfriend* Buy me a Starbucks coffee so I know it’s real.

I guess this is an excuse to show everyone how trendy I actually am.
