Hunter to Sell Boots for $45 at Target and We’re Freaking Out About It

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Just in time for April showers, Target has announced that it will be collaborating with Hunter, who is famous for its rubber Wellington rain boots that you see everyone wearing on campus. It is a known brand among many of Target’s customers, so the collaboration made perfect sense to Target’s executive vice president, Mark Tritton. Tritton described this next move for Target when he said, “From the very beginning, we worked with Hunter to develop a well-designed, affordable collection that’s all about fun, optimism and accessible adventure for the entire family. The colorful, all-weather pieces found in this line are made for enjoying the outdoors—rain or shine—on any budget.”

The collection will launch on April 14 at select Target stores and Target.com, including over 300 items of apparel and accessories for all ages with prices ranging from $5-$80. The famous Hunter Wellington rain boots will retail at Target for $45 and under, a major cut from the brand’s $150 original style of rain boots. Hunter’s Creative Director said that they wanted to be sure to include the famous rain boot in the collection at an affordable price, so they created something unique and exclusive that carries reference from their original boots to make them more accessible. Be sure to check it out next month!
