G’Day Stags: Bobbi’s Australian Adventures

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

EKKA is the state of Queensland’s national festival! A ton of Fairfield students went on fun rides, watched some cool entertainment and ate amazing food there.

I took this photo right after an evening run. Just a 3 minute walk from my apartment are beautiful parks along the river where public chairs are available for anyone to sit on!

This is the Wheel of Brisbane and if you want the best views of the city this is the place to be! My roommates and I learned the hard way that the best time to go for photos was at sunset so just a heads up!

Iguanas are like the Australian squirrel! You see them everywhere and when they come out on the sidewalk you can really tell who the locals are by their reaction.

This breathtaking view was taken in Byron Bay. There is a hiking trail there that runs along the Atlantic Ocean and if you’re patient enough you can sometimes spot whales and dolphins from the top!
