Face Masks We’re Obsessed With

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Alright ladies and gents, midterm szn is officially over and now it’s time to kick back and relax before the work begins to pile up again. Face masks are a great way to relax after a long week and help your skin in the process – whether you’re trying to combat redness, dryness, or acne! Trust me; you’ll be thanking yourself once you have healthy, glowing, and flawless skin. Here are a couple of face masks that we swear by:

  1. For Puffiness

The KNC Star Eye Mask is a must have for those long nights spent trying to cram for a test. No one likes to wake up with bags under their eyes, but with the help of this cute mask, you’ll look like you got more sleep than you probably did! This little shooting star eye mask could be easily worn around without embarrassment of running into someone you know, although the mask only takes 10 to 15 minutes. With aloe, firming collagen, antioxidant grape seed oil and more, this mask will lessen your puffiness – so get yours here!

  1. For Redness

Redness is a common problem for those who have rosacea and easily irritated skin. This face mask may be high end, but it will definitely be worth the purchase with its blend of cucumber, thyme, and smoothing dipeptides. With the harsh winter season approaching, it’s important to protect your skin from aggressive wind and dry air, which could easily leave your skin looking like you spent all afternoon outside. Make sure to pick up this face mask here before the season changes. Winter is coming!

  1. For Hydration

If you’re looking for a face mask that won’t break the bank and will still make your skin silky smooth, then stop what you’re doing because Garnier created a water-based sheet mask that packs half a bottle of hydrating serum in one use. After the long week, most of us have to be revived, so say hello to plumper, softer, and more radiant skin with this face mask! You can get it here!

  1. For Sensitive Skin

Having sensitive skin can be tricky because you have to be extra cautious of what you put on your face in order to avoid the inevitable. But with any SOS moment, REN skincare comes to save the day. This must-have face mask reduces redness, irritation, itchiness, and inflammation all at once! The mask is essential after attempting to remove a zit because with the help of white mushroom extract and redness-reducing arnica, the effects of your latest battle will be significantly downplayed. Make sure to pick a tube, or a couple, here!

  1. For Dry Skin

It’s okay to be skeptical of face masks, as it seems like almost everyone is coming out with new ones promising refreshing, dewy skin. What makes this mask different from the rest is that it is recommended to be worn overnight. That’s right everyone, you don’t have to wash it off before bed. The combination of vitamin E, shea butter, glycerin, and more will leave you feeling like a new person by the morning. Sephora also carries the brand, but you can buy it directly from Summer Fridays’ website here.
