Being in college with a long distance relationship is difficult because you have to make the most of school vacations and the moments you do have together. If your spring breaks line up, try to plan some cute dates! Here are a few ideas:

  1. Go to a Brewery

More and more breweries have been coming out and have been so popular for dates. It’s a great opportunity to go out with your significant other, learn a little something about the creation of beer, and have a fun day trying some delicious flavors. There’s also usually some great foods, photo-ops, and an overall positive experience for a day trip!

  1. Couples Massages

Massages are good for anyone at any time to take a load off and really focus on relaxation. However, a couples massage is a great idea for a romantic date to release any stress and narrow in on your re-connection with that special person. It is an awesome bonding opportunity for couples that may not get to see each other often. Maintain the calm energy with a spa night at home after!

  1. Go for a Hike

Spring break is usually the beginning of nicer weather and it is always so important to get some fresh air. Going on a hike is a great opportunity to spend time with your significant other while getting exercise and staying healthy!

  1. Paint Easter Eggs

Crafts are a fun, relaxing way to lay low and catch up with your boyfriend/girlfriend. With Easter around the corner, go grab an egg decorating/coloring set and have a chill afternoon with your favorite person. Make some snacks and throw some background music on and it’ll be such an easy, cheap date!

  1. Have a Picnic

As we said before, spring break is often the nicest, peak-spring weather. A cute idea would be to pack a basket, and head down to your favorite park or beach and enjoy a picnic with your significant other. Sitting on a blanket, eating some delicious snacks, and just enjoying the nature around you is a great way to unwind and enjoy quality time. Maybe do this at the place where you two met!

  1. Do the TikTok “Four Course Meal” Trend

We all know that things we see on TikTok spark our interest and become activities that we must try! A popular trend right now is the “four course meal” – where a couple flips a coin four times to determine which of them gets to choose where they go for each so called “course”: (drink, appetizer, main course, and dessert). Then, they drive around and go to a few of their favorite places for each aspect of the meal. This could be a super fun date as well as a way to go to some of your favorite restaurants while you’re home for a little bit!

Time is precious when it comes to long distance relationships! Try out some of these date ideas to really make that limited time together the best it can be…  enjoy!
