As much as we all love Fairfield U, we’d be lying if we said it isn’t nice to get off campus every once in a while. Luckily there are a number of fun things to do in the county of Fairfield!
1. Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo- Bridgeport, CT.
You’re never to old to appreciate cute animals, plus it’s the only zoo in the state!
2. Sheffield Island Lighthouse- Norwalk, CT.
Because who doesn’t love a lighthouse and a boat ride tour of marinas, yacht clubs and waterfront properties?
3. Rockin’ Jump- Trumbull, CT.
Have a lot of pent up energy from sitting in class all day? Rockin’ Jump has wall-to-wall trampolines that’ll leave you sleeping like a baby that night.
4. Hotspot Glass Studio- Fairfield, CT.
Now this place is really, really cool. Anyone is welcome to go in and watch the expert glass blowers work their magic- or you can take classes and take home your masterpieces!
5. SoNo Ice House- South Norwalk, CT.
Still feeling guilty about not following your dreams to be a professional ice skater? SoNo Ice House can let you and your friends live this dream for a few hours with their two NHL sized rinks.
6. AMF Milford Lanes- Milford, CT.
Bowling is undoubtedly one of everyone’s favorite pastimes. Just don’t forget to bring a pair of socks!
